Program Description

The International Caritas Consortium (ICC) is a forum for innovative collaboration, uniting and energizing healthcare professionals and committed individuals from various clinical and educational systems, actively engaged in Caring Science and the Theory of Human Caring.
The consortium is an annual gathering that invites participants to showcase the innovative approaches you have taken to integrate and sustain Caring Science into your practice, environment and culture. This is a unique opportunity to gain national and international recognition and contribute to sharing this meaningful work.


Program Learning Outcomes

                      • Explore diverse ways to integrate caring science theory into education, practice, and research by supporting and learning from each other.
                      • Share knowledge and experiences to help guide self and others in the journey to live the caring philosophy and theory in our personal and professional life.

                        Target Audience 
                        Nurses and health care professional of clinical and educational systems and/or selected individuals who are advancing the education, professional practice and research of Caring Science/Human Caring Theory through their respective role and activities in USA and internationally.

                        Accreditation

                        Stanford Health Care is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP12165 for 14.0 contact hours.

                        Stanford Health Care is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
