The Center for Advanced Practice is proud to offer an advanced practice program focusing on the principles of pharmacology in relation to schedule II-V controlled substances. The course explores evaluation, treatment/management and standardized procedures and protocols of controlled substances, with an emphasis on schedule 2. Additionally, the course will review the legal and prescribing aspects associated with management; as well as reviewing misuse, abuse, and drug diversion; and conclude with a review of ADHD medications. This is an all-day program with a spectacular advanced practice faculty.
